12 Projects of Christmas

Another day I couldn't get my projects posted, so here are 2 in 1!

Place Cards:

   

Place cards were made by the very talented Deb Krog.

Supplies:

Cardstock:  Ski Slope Designer Series Paper, Old Olive

Ink:  Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad

 

Accessories:  Frame, Scallop Edge Punch, Sponge, Button Bouquet Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, Crafter's Tool Kit (needle), Mod Podge and Sponge Brush to apply, Acrylic Ink and Sponge Brush to apply

 

Here are some tips that Lynn provided for these frames:  

 

You can use any frame for altering.  It can be finished, unfinished and of any size.  I prefer frames with wider frames for altering.  Whether my frames are finished or not, I tend to paint them with acrylic paint in a neutral color that matches the color papers I prefer to use.  Let the paint dry and apply a thin layer of mod podge before applying paper.  Trim paper to edge of frame and sand edges to finish them off.  If you would like, sponge edges at this time.  Apply another light application of Mod Podge on top of the DSP and allow to dry.  Finish decorating your frame by adding things like ribbon, Little Felt Flurries, Rub-ons, Buttons, Pretties Kit accessories, glitter, etc.
