I've been a busy little bee!

I am having my second class in a week and also have been preparing for my oldest's birthday party.

I've been wracking my brain trying to come up with a "goodie bag" that everyone will enjoy including the parents.  If you are anything like me, I'm tired of getting the junky little dinky things in a bag that wind up cluttering my entire house.

The other day I was surfing around and found this great little box with a template!!!  As soon as I saw it I knew it was perfect!  Perfect for 2 little cupcakes.  What's better than a cupcake party but a cupcake party with cupcakes that you can take home.

I figured after the cupcakes were gone (which probably wouldn't be too long after the party) the girls could use the box as a little jewelry box or a place to keep little trinkets.

Here's what I came up with:

 

I used the adorable Sweet Always paper and my new absolute favorite Big Shot Die (Top Note)  I am in love.

The box is made out of Regal Rose and I was able to cut out the Chocolate Chip label using my Cricut (another favorite).  TFL! 

Gift Bag & Gift Card Class

Here is a sample of the adorable gift bags (with matching tissue paper) and note cards we'll be making at a class next week.  There will also be gift card holders (not shown). 

We'll be making 2 gift bags, 2 note cards and 2 gift card holders, plus matching tissue paper.

BIrthday Cupcake

I've been a busy little bee making cupcake invitations for my oldest birthday party.  She was 6 in January and it has taken me 2 months to get my act together and schedule something for her.  I wanted to find a place that was a little different from the same 'ole thing.

I found a place that is cute and boutiquey ( I know that's not a word) It kind of reminds me of Central Perk from Friends.  They make fresh cupcakes each day and have a cute sectional couch in which to hang out and scarf down cupcakes and watch movies. (sound like a bad place I know, lol)  We'll without further ado, here is the invite.

***Sorry but I took out the contact info and party info, as we all know there are some not nice people out there)*** 

I used the Simple Birthday Thanks and cut the top and bottom seperately.  The top in chocolate chip and the bottom in Pretty in Pink.  I then attached them to a piece of Whisper White.  I also cut out the cherry from a piece of Real Red.  I punched out some 1/4" circles in Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose and added them as "sprinkles".  I used my crimper to make the cupcake bottom.

I also added Dazzling Diamonds to the sprinkles.

 

I printed the info out and mounted it on Regal Rose that I punched the corners with the corner ticket punch.

I think I'm looking forward to the party as much as my daughter is.

Back from a fabulous weekend!

I just got back from a fabulous Crop Weekend with a great bunch of girls that I know. 

I got a lot accomplished and I thought I would share some pages that I did.

Here's one of my favorites:

I love the layout but I love the picture more.  When I shot the picture and looked at it afterward I was mad because I thought it was ruined because I didn't get my son's face.  But the more I looked at it the more I loved it.  His feet spoke volumes, more than his face.  The tree is awesome...it's from Stampin' Up!  It's called Sticky Cut Sweets and you can apply glitter, beads, etc. to it.  It has to be the coolest product I've used so far.

The title was cut using my Cricut (another one of my loves, lol!)  A simply layout but I love it.  TFL!
