I'm the worst

I still can't get use to the new school schedule.  The kids seem to be just fine but I feel like I can't get anything done!

I decided that I would do the color challenge (on a demonstrator site).  It's where you create something using the colors of the week.  This week's colors are Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal and Pumpkin Pie. 

I just received a box of goodies last week and haven't even had the time to play (can you imagine that).  So I pulled out my Mr. Twigster*** stamp set and set out to make a card.  Here it is:

 

I didn't have much time so I decided to do a 3"x3" card which is perfect for this set, since it's on the smaller side. 

I stamped him in Stazon and colored it in with my markers (see colors above) and that's it.  I realized that I also had in my box of goodies Stampin' Up!'s new felt snow flakes (that come in 3 beautiful colors) I added them to the edge and snipped off the over hang.  TFL!

Retirement List is Here!

It's that time again...Stampin' Up has put out their Retired List.  If you are unfamiliar with how it works, I'll give you a quick lesson.

Stampin' Up now has 2 catalogs a year so right before the new catalog comes out, they publish a Retirement List.  This list is all of the stamp sets that will be leaving the catalog to make room for NEW STAMPS and ACCESSORIES (that list will be out on July 21st) All the stamp sets are available until August 10.  So flip through your catalog or click here to see it online and make sure you get those sets that you always wanted before they are gone FOREVER!

So Sorry!!!

I have been so bad about updating my blog.  The holidays just wrecked me.  Between having 10-12 people in my house at any given time from December 21st. till after the holidays, to going on vacation the week after New Years.  We had a great time and my oldest, (she'll be 5 tomorrow) had a blast at the beach.

I'm going to try and get a little scrapbooking done and I will post them as soon as possible.

P.S.  My favorite person came yesterday (the UPS guy) and brought new goodies from Stampin' Up!  I'll be sure to post some new cards too! TFL!

M I A

I know I've been MIA for a while but trust me it will be worth while.  I have been asked by my up-upline to demonstrate at a bi-annual meeting for her downlines.  It's called Fall Fest and if it is anything like Spring Fling it should be amazing.  From what I understand the #1 DEMONSTRATOR OF THE YEAR Ronda Wade will be speaking.  Can you image the knowledge she must have.  I'm getting really excited.

Anyway, I have been "creating" my demonstration.  I was asked to make altered items.  As soon as Fall Fest is over (October 13th) I will post all of my creations.  I have 6 fall, holiday and everyday items to share with you.  So check back on Sunday and leave me a comment on what you think.  TFL!

New Element

I added something new to my blog (upper left corner).  It's a sign up box so that you can get my monthly email newsletter (I just figured out how to do this, lol).  It's a great tool to keep you informed on what Stampin' Up! is "up" to in regards to specials and promotions.  Also it will keep you up to date on my specials and classes.  So go on and sign up.  You got nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

My Watermark

I've gotten some emails asking where I got my watermark.  Well here it is...I found Dina's site on another blog (sorry, I can't remember who's).  You can go to her site and choose from some really beautiful watermarks.  She then sends you a mock up of what she's made and you approve it.  It's that easy.  Hope that helps!  TFL!
